Introduction

I am Tajul Islam Taj, a political activist and dedicated organizer of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal. Currently serving as Member Secretary of Naogaon District Chhatra Dal, I have been actively working in student politics, democracy, human rights, and public rights movements for a long time.

Political Journey

My political journey began in 2008 as a grassroots activist of Chhatra Dal. From 2008 to 2018, I served as an ordinary member of the Naogaon district branch. Later, through dedication and organizational efficiency, I took on various key responsibilities. Currently, as Member Secretary, I am working tirelessly to strengthen the organization.

  • ২৬ নভেম্বর, ২০২৩: Case over peace-rally opposition (Accused No. 6)
  • ১৩ ডিসেম্বর, ২০২৩: Case for assembly and sabotage in front of office (Accused No. 4)

Social & Organizational Activities

  • Actively took to the streets in every programme — hartal, blockade and torch processions — under the directive of Tarique Rahman during the anti-autocracy movement.
  • Joined the anti-discrimination student-people movement and stood by the injured students.
  • Worked to raise awareness for democratic rights and human rights.
  • Led the organising of the founding anniversary and workers’ conference of Naogaon District Chhatra Dal.
  • Took part in welfare activities, relief distribution and helping the injured in accidents.
  • Distributed relief and educational materials and planted trees at various institutions.
